Duck TV – Blog

This was a blog I wrote about two years ago for Duck TV. Duck TV was the University of Oregon’s premiere student-run TV channel and production team. I was a PR specialist for Duck TV and got the opportunity to write blogs pertaining to student life on campus.

Entrevista – Spanish

With my passion for travel blogging also comes a passion for Spanish. I’ve been learning Spanish since I was in the third grade and I think knowing a second language is really key in life. I have gotten amazing opportunities traveling abroad, expanding my Spanish. This was an interview I did with a woman from Spain. This shows I can make other forms of media in different languages.

Multimedia – Images

This photo project was for a gateway class I took about two years ago. We had many different projects in this class, but this one was particularly my favorite. We had to shoot different styles of photos and apply captions to all of them. We got to choose what we wanted to take photos of, so I decided to shoot my friend skateboarding.

Infographic

This is an infographic I made for another PR class. I strongly believe that people should buy locally, especially when traveling. So, I made this infographic to persuade people to buy locally and evidence of why it’s better than buying from bigger, international companies.

Nonprofit Appeal Email

For another one of my PR classes, we had to create a nonprofit appeal letter. My goal with this assignment was to choose a travel agency, that is of course nonprofit, and try to receive donations from a donor to try to achieve our mission. I am not Greg Takehara. I wrote this letter myself, but I used his name for a class asignment.

My Favorite Blog I wrote

For one of my PR classes, we had to write two blogs a week. This blog is the one I’m most proud of because I got to interview a really interesting person. I asked Dan Flying Solo how he got started with travel blogging and any advice he has. Travel blogging is something that had recently piqued my interest for something I want to do after graduation.
